Is your iPod or iPhone not responding or somewhat too sluggish? You’ll need to perform a hard reset on your iPod, not to be confused with the term for ‘Restore factory settings’, a hard reset does not clear your iPod or iPhone of all previous settings and files. It simply ‘restart’ your device by clearing the memory.
How To Reset iPod or iPhone
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
