Microsoft Phone: Microsoft Announces Ten Windows 7 Phone handsets to 30 countries: October 21 in Europe and Asia, November 8 in the U.S - There may be "Windows" brand, but Windows Mobile 7 is not the desktop experience shoehorned into a cell phone. Microsoft tried it with Windows Mobile ... and we all know how that happened. Today, eight months after the unveiling of Windows 7 OS Phone in Barcelona, we finally see the official launch of the retail hardware: WP7 nine new handsets available Oct. 21 in some European and Asian markets and in early November in the U.S. States. The phones will gather more than 60 mobile operators in over 30 countries this year. Microsoft tapped Dell, HTC, LG and Samsung to provide handsets based on a Snapdragon support list that includes AT & T, T-Mobile USA, Vodafone, TELUS, America Movil, Deutsche Telekom AG, Movistar, O2, Orange, SFR, SingTel and Telstra. And this is only the first wave - Microsoft has combined more to come in 2011, including one for Sprint and Verizon in the United States. Here is the lineup of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) phones announced today:

* HTC 7 Surround - The T8788 with 3.8-inch speaker slideout for AT & T and Telus
* HTC HD7 - Schubert comes of age as a cousin HD2 4.3-inch T-Mobile and beyond
7 * HTC Trophy - 3.8 inches Spark head to international carriers

"Regards and Go" is the slogan of Microsoft uses to differentiate an already crowded market of smartphones. Something we've seen this referred to a leaked AT & T announcement. As noted Steve Ballmer, Microsoft and its partners provide another type of mobile phone and experience -. This makes everyday tasks more quickly by getting more done in fewer steps and provide timely information in a " brief and go "format" He alluded to WP7 is customizable Live Tile, of course. Xbox Live integration is another biggie with EA Games has just announced its first Xbox Live-freight enabled to come to Windows 7 Phone in the fall, including "Need for Speed Undercover," "Tetris," "Monopoly", and "The Sims 3." The other big differentiator is the Metro web UI, built-in support for media Zune and Zune Pass subscription, Bing search and maps, Windows Live, including free Find My Phone, and Microsoft OfficeMobile.

Now quit stalling and jump past the break for the full list of handsets by carrier and by country.

Update: Added the WP7 official presentation videos after the break.
